Eagle Electronics, a Solon-headquartered maker of cellular modules used in a broad array of technological applications, has acquired a German manufacturer in a deal that significantly expands the fast-growing, venture-backed startup.

The Ohio company announced on Wednesday, Dec. 17, that it has purchased Wireless Mobility, a provider of Internet of Things (IoT) modules and solutions for automotive and industrial sectors. Wireless was founded in 2022 and is based in Bad Homburg, Hesse, Germany.
