Terry Coyne has a big vision for 671 acres of land near Rickenbacker International Airport and the site of Anduril’s planned mega manufacturing complex.

“Our goal is to find the next Anduril, which I realize sounds crazy because that’s probably a once in a lifetime opportunity,” Coyne, a Cleveland-based executive vice chairman at Newmark, told Columbus Business First. “But it’s tough to amass land like we did.”

There are a group of investors behind Coyne, including the recently formed O.H.I.O Fund. Coyne didn’t name the others.

“Terry has a 30-year track record of acquiring land and doing innovative and creative things,” said Ray Leach, the CFO of the investment group, calling Coyne – a longtime friend – the “quarterback” of the effort.
