I am bullish on Ohio because I am a proud Ohioan, born and raised here! Ohio is an amazing, untapped, hidden gem on many levels from its unique and interesting history, to being home to incredible inventors, innovators, and top tier universities. We get to experience all the seasons (without the calamities) and have some of the best parks, lake fronts and well-connected transportation routes. I have over three decades of experience in investment banking and private equity in the Greater Cleveland area. My background includes working with established funds as well as helping a team successfully spin out and build a new fund—giving me firsthand insight into fund formation, operational setup, and strategic growth.

I have directly overseen the process of rebuilding operations after experiencing two mergers—essentially helping to restart and integrate a company from the ground up. I understand not just the stable, day-to-day operations, but also the challenges and intricacies of launching new ventures and merging teams. My early career in the nonprofit and public sectors, adds a broader understanding of how different organizational models function. These experiences provided a well-rounded perspective on building a successful, thriving fund from multiple angles that I believe are uniquely valuable to The O.H.I.O. Fund.

I see The O.H.I.O. Fund as a catalyst for showcasing the exceptional talent and high‑potential companies already here in Ohio while attracting the next generation of innovators and operators to the region.
