Die-Matic Corp., the metal stamping and tool-and-die maker in Brooklyn Heights, has been acquired for undisclosed terms by OCTAD Precision Manufacturing Group in its bid to reinvigorate U.S. manufacturing operations.

OCTAD Precision Manufacturing is an affiliate of Hudson-based OCTAD Capital Partners, which received a $5.6 million investment from private funds advised by the O.H.I.O. Fund this week, the fund said in a statement.

Founded in 1958, Die-Matic’s 70 employees will join OCTAD Precision Manufacturing, which operates six other metal stamping companies. Combined, these companies have more than 400 employees and $300 million in revenue, the O.H.I.O. Fund said.
